Challenges for the Homeowner

  • Create a more functional bathroom
  • Offer greater safety with the appropriate toilet and shower
  • A seamless and attractive look
  • Update fixtures and overall look of the room

How We Solved the Problem

Our team began by removing the traditional tub/shower combination, replacing it with a beautiful open shower with grab bars. This opened up the room and made the space more modern. The zero-entry, or curbless, shower also offers easier access aids in getting in and out of the shower. We also installed a functional and fashion-forward nook and contrast tile insert for storage. For an improved shower experience, we installed a waterfall shower head and a handheld version.

Next, we installed lighting appropriate for bathroom tasks with layers of light, including ambient and task lighting, so it is evenly distributed throughout the space. For better usability, we updated the toilet, replacing it with one with a more comfortable height and installing a taller vanity. We completed the bathroom remodel with a luxurious brown onyx countertop and stylish brushed nickel faucets from the Moen Eva collection.

Our Sycamore clients now have the bathroom of their dreams – spacious, functional, and comfortable.
