We have been remodeling homes across DeKalb County and Kane County, IL for over 35 years. Part of our success comes from our detailed home remodeling process that we use for each and every project. This process allows us to communicate and collaborate with our clients from the start to the finish of their projects. Here's what you can expect during your home remodeling project with Ken Spears Construction:
We initially meet with you in your existing home to determine how you currently use your home, what you really like about it, features that you would like to have, and what will be the most efficient use of the space. During this meeting, we will discuss your vision from layout to design to materials. It's a great time to show off those design inspiration images that you've been saving from Instagram, Pinterest, and other sources.
Next, we will design your home using the input from our onsite meeting. There are many selections and options which come into play when remodeling a home and we will guide you through the process. Need to know what kind of flooring will be the most durable for your family and pets? We can help you choose one that will last for years to come! Can't decide between quartz or marble kitchen countertops? We can help you weigh the pros and cons of each.
At the next meeting, we will sit down and discuss your home plans at our conference room. Our software allows you to see 3-D views of your new space in your DeKalb or Kane County home. It also allows us to make changes to your project while you watch so we can truly give you the space you've always dreamed of.
After we have developed a plan, we will then do a walk-through with our building trades team members so they can better understand the scope of the project. This allows us to give you an exact price for your kitchen, bathroom, or other home remodeling project.
Once we have provided you with a quote for your project, we will review the plan with you and recap the feedback and insights from our team members. We do this to address any potential challenges before the project starts.
As we head to production, we will provide you with an expectation of when the project will start, when it will end, and what will happen in the interval between those two points. While your project is underway, we will continue to stay in contact and be there to answer any questions that you may have.
Once we have completed construction, we will conduct a final walk-through of your new space with you to ensure that it is everything that you expected and more! We will then hand over your keys and allow you start enjoying your stunning new kitchen, master bathroom retreat, or other room.
